About

Adam graduated with his PhD from the University of Edinburgh on June 29, 2010. His thesis is entitled, "An Imperial Vision: William Howard Taft and the Philippines, 1900-1921,"  and explores the U.S.-Philippine imperial experiment following the Spanish-American War. In June and July 2010, Adam was a Fulbright Summer Institute Fellow at New York University. From 2010-2011 he taught in the History Departments of Newcastle University and the University of Edinburgh. In December 2011 he graduated with a Master's in Education from the University of Birmingham. He currently teaches History at Marlborough College in Wiltshire.
