About
My dissertation focuses on the references to the figure of Satan in the undisputed Pauline letters (though I've now changed some of my views on Pauline authorship). I'm interested in such matters such as why does Paul refer to Satan at all in his correspondence with his churches? How does Paul understand Satan to work? Whom does Paul envisage Satan attacking/opposing? Why does Paul describe Satan as opposing his own missionary/apostolic labor as well as his churches?
