About
The aim of my research is to understand the integration of visual and auditory cues in social situations and how this is associated with other factors important for successful social interaction such as inferring the mental states of others. I am interested how the healthy brain combines what it hears and sees and whether there are effects of healthy adult ageing on the multisensory integration of social information. In addition, I am investigating if inability to integrate cross-modal information is one of the underlying deficits in neurological patients who report changes in their social and emotional processing.
