About

I'm a law student at the University of Edinburgh, currently studying on exchange at Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris, with a particular interest in constitutional law, international law, human rights, and the interplay of these subjects with private law. This summer I will be undertaking placements at DLA Piper and CMS Cameron McKenna in their Edinburgh and London offices, with a view to applying these academic interests in commercial practice.

As a school speaker for Amnesty International UK, I introduce young people in schools in Scotland to human rights issues and Amnesty's work, and hope to inspire those young people to get involved in human rights activism themselves. I'm also involved in Amnesty activism myself as a former Vice President, and now current Ordinary Committee Member, of the wonderful University of Edinburgh Amnesty Society.
