About
I am currently doing an Arts & Humanities Research Council Collaborative Doctoral Award at the University of Edinburgh and Dovecot Tapestry Studio. The primary aim of my research is to look at the collaborative relationship between Dovecot Studios and the artists who have designed tapestries for them. My focus is on tapestries from the 1950s and 1960s. My wider interests include 20th century and contemporary jewellery and textiles, interdisciplinary approaches to crafts and the Islamic decorative arts.
Prior to this I worked as Gallery Manager at Dovecot, co-curating an exhibition of illustrations by John Burningham, curating an exhibition celebrating twenty years of the Alastair Salvesen Art Scholarship and helped coordinate Henry Moore Textiles at Dovecot.
