About
RESEARCH
My research interests lie in europeanisation and the framework that is used to study it. I am particularly interested in interrogating the relationship between grassroots green groups and the process of europeanisation. In my thesis I study this dynamic through the lens of anti-road and anti-GM crop protest in Britain, France and Italy.
My work is situated in a gap in the existing literature between europeanisation studies and social movement studies. It spans the disciplines of Politics and Sociology and strives to make both an empirical contribution to our knowledge of grassroots social movements and a theoretical contribution to the framework which is used to study europeanisation.
