Mark Sprevak is Lecturer at the Department of Philosophy, University of Edinburgh.

Until January 2011, he was a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow in the Philosophy Faculty, University of Cambridge, and Director of Studies in Philosophy and fellow of King's College, Cambridge.

His primary research interests are in philosophy of mind, philosophy of science, metaphysics, and philosophy of language, with particular focus on the cognitive sciences
