About

I've been teaching at Edinburgh since 2000, and have run the Graduate School of Arts, Culture and Environment since 2007. I run programmes on modern/contemporary architecture and urbanism (MSc in the City). I also teach in certain areas of art historical theory. My books include 'After Modern Sculpture' (2000), 'The Anxious City' (2004) and 'Brazil: Modern Architectures in History' (2009). I'm currently writing a new book on sexuality and architecture, to be published in 2012. I'm also co-editing a book on art and urban regeneration with Jonathan Harris of Liverpool University.

I am the Dean of Postgraduate Studies, College of Humanities and Social Sciences
